I love this game, but my biggest problem with the final version released on the NSO (not sure if this problem is in the SNES Mini), the lock-on targeting system of the game is (I sh*t you not) an unlockable part of the game…….IN EACH MODE!!!! So you’re better off playing the unreleased version.

Awesome how Star Fox clips were some of the earliest videos on UA-cam. Had I known back then, I would've tried to get on YT back in high school 😅 oh well. This is still one of the greatest games ever made.

The secret to get past the segment with the spinning bars is spamming the brakes, the bars will fly past you and you can avoid them easier.

Venom 2 always was kinda crazy to me. You've got like Venom 1 and Venom 3 have all these ships and defenses, while Venom 2 is just like "guess we'll just start blasting all these vehicles in the middle of their commute", lol.

I only rarely ever got to play this. Despite that, I clearly remember shooting the asteroids as soon as I saw them, and it worked fine. Miiiiight be you've been challenging yourself more than you strictly needed to all these years!

This gAme was NOT ahead of its time!!🤨🤨 THIS IS WHY IT WAS CANCELED!!! It was suppose to be released around the time the 32x, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation were out! These systems were light years ahead of the SNES! So it mAde no sense to put money into releasing the game even though it was mostly completed.🤷🏾‍♂️

Since this is where Fox’s father disappeared, it would have been cool for him to appear and assist fox on this stage like the other 3 usually do, like a ghost fox or whatever in this black hole dimension.
